Dr. Hao Wu

Academic achievements include: 

1) Proposed a family of solid metal carbide precursor, i.e., MXene, to synthesize MOFs;

2) Developed the organic/acid-etching strategy, by which the microscopic structures can be well tuned;

3) Identified facet determines activity of oxygen evolution reaction catalyst;

Dr. Wu has published >50 papers in international journals, including J. Am. Chem. Soc., Angew. Chem., Adv. Mater., etc., which have been cited by >3900 times (h-index 30). He won the best poster award at the 10th ICMAT of 2019 MRS, Singapore. He served as a co-chair of ACS Fall 2023 and ACS Fall 2024, and young editorial board member of the Journals "EcoEnergy" and "eScience".
