    I am a social anthropologist with research interests in the shamanic religions of Siberia. My research has frocused on Tuva Republic, where I've done fieldwork. I have published one monograph and several articles on shamanic violence and social conflict in Tuva. Beyond this focus on shamanism, I am interested in the scholarship of new religious movements, millenarian cults, and the Pagan revival.
