Dr. Guoxing Li is a full professor at Institute of Frontier and Interdisciplinary Science, Shandong University. His research mainly focuses on energy storage materials and devices (batteries, catalysis), novel carbon materials. 20+ peer-reviewed papers has been published in high-profile journals, including Nature Energy, Nature Communications, Advanced Energy Materials, ACS Nano, ACS Energy Letters. These papers have been cited more than 2000 times, while the most cited paper has been cited 900+ times, and 4 first-author papers were ranked as highly cited papers (Top 1%) by Clarivate (Web of Sciences). 4 patents have been applied, and 3 of them have been granted.

    Currently, our research mainly focuses on the development of advanced energy storage materials and devices, novel catalyst, advanced carbon materials. We are exploring novel materials and devices towards the clean energy technologies using our knowledge of chemistry, physics, engineering, etc. We are pursuing more powerful and long-life energy storage devices to meet the demand of our modern life. We are developing new carbon materials through organic synthesis towards the energy storage and conversion. Our ultimate goal is to make the energy clean.
