He is currently the deputy dean of the School of Information Science and Engineering of Shandong University, the director of the Digital Signal Processing (DSPs) Laboratory of Shandong University-TI, and the Senior Member of the Chinese Institute of Electronics, IEEE Senior Member; Associate Editor of Digital Crime and Forensics (IJDCF). Editorial Board of Journal of Electronics and Information, Data Collection and Processing, and Journal of Shandong University. The winner of the "New Century Excellent Talent Support Program" of the Ministry of Education, the leading figure of Jinan Excellent Innovation Team and the Distinguished Professor of Hisense Digital Multimedia Technology National Key Laboratory.In July 1986, he received a B.S. degree in Radio Electronics from Shandong University, majoring in Electronics and Information Systems. In July 1989, he received his M.S. degree in Electronics and Information Systems from the Department of Electronic Engineering, Shandong University (formerly Department of Radio Electronics), professional direction: information and signal processing. Since August 1989, he has taught in the Department of Electronic Engineering of Shandong University. In April 2000, he received his Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from Southeast University. His professional direction is the theory and application of blind signal processing.From June 2002 to December 2003 as a visiting professor at the University of Catalonia Polytechnic University (Universidad Politecnica de Catalunya-UPC, Barcelona, Spain) Department of Signal Theory and Communication and Catalonia Communication Technology Research Center (Telecommunications Technological Center of Catalonia - CTTC, Barcelona, Spain) is engaged in joint optimization design methods and reconfigurable techniques for multi-antenna (MIMO) systems. From November 2005 to January 2006, the DAAD project was funded by the Department of Communication Engineering at the University of Bremen in Germany and the Department of Communication Systems at the University of Duisburg-Essen. Funded by the China Scholarship Council from June to December 2009 and July 2012 as a senior research scholar at the University of Washington, Seattle Electrical Engineering and the University of California, San Diego. In March 2018, he was invited by the Japan Society for the Promotion of Science to go to Japan Ritsumeikan University and Yamaguchi University for collaborative research on medical image processing.He has undertaken a number of projects including the National Key R&D Program, the National Natural Science Foundation, the Science and Technology Innovation Project Major Project Cultivation Fund Project of the Higher Education Institution, and the Major Innovation Project of Shandong Province. He has won 4 provincial and ministerial level scientific and technological progress awards, more than 20 invention patents and 2 monographs. He was approved by the Ministry of Education for the "New Century Excellent Talents Support Program" and the leading figures of Jinan Excellent Innovation Team. More than 200 academic papers were published at the conferences and journals. More than 20 graduate doctoral students and more than 60 graduate students have been trained.At present, the main research directions include: wireless communication hollow time signal processing technology, intelligent signal processing theory and application, multimedia communication and network transmission technology.
