Biography
I obtained my Ph.D. degree in psychology at Beijing Normal University. My doctoral researches focus on behavioral contributors and brain mechanisms of successful cognitive aging, and my research experience also includes the identification of vascular risk factors of cognitive impairment and dementia risk screening in community-based older adults. In 2022, I was offered an assistant professor position at the School of Nursing and Rehabilitation, Cheeloo College of Medicine, Shandong University in Jinan, China. In recent years, I have been researching lifespan influence factors and underlying brain mechanisms of the heterogeneity of cognitive aging, which includes successful, normal, and pathological cognitive aging, aiming at the early detection and prevention of age-related cognitive impairment and the promotion of geriatric health and well-being.
