Zhang Lin, Doctor of Engineering, Asso. Professor,now as teaching and scientific researching teacher at the School of Materials Science and Engineering, Shandong University. Courses including Materials Forming Equipment and Automation, Innovative Thinking Training, and New Materials in the 21st Century, compiled and published planning textbooks such as Casting Machinery, New Metal Materials-Properties and Applications, and New Materials in the 21st Century. She has won "Excellent head teacher of Shandong University", "second prize of course Ideological and political competition" and other awards. Scientific research is mainly engaged in the development and application of nano functional materials, including:

(1) Preparation process parameter design optimization, microstructure characterization, performance analysis of alkaline earth, rare earth boride materials and their composite powders, polycrystals and films, and their application and development in the fields of optics, electricity, metallurgy and so on;

(2) Research and development of materials in new energy fields such as lithium solid state battery and lithium ion battery materials;

(3) Design of graphene, nano carbon  dots functional materials and their applications in sewage, waste gas treatment and agriculture.

She is now a key member of the Carbon Nano Materials Application Research Center of Shandong University. She has presided over or participated in two national scientific research projects and four provincial and university level scientific research projects. She has been to Russia, South Korea, Germany and Poland for international academic exchanges for many times. She has obtained five national invention patents and published more than 100 SCI papers.
