The global fossil fuel dependence has raised much pressure to the energy resources and the environment. Solar irradiation as a clean, cheap and sustainable energy resource not only is a potential solution for future, but also has found many applications in nowadays industrial applications. The main tasks in chemical applications of solar energy are:
1) Searching for highly efficient photocatalysts;
2) Expending the scope of light-triggered (catalyzed) chemical reactions.

The Yifeng group are devoted to fundamental research on photocatalysis. Currently, the Yifeng Group works at two projects [view details]:
1. The titanium oxo clusters: isolation, properties and applications;
2. Photocatalytic organic transformation.
