Dr. Tianrun Yang is a postdoctoral researcher at the Institute for Advanced Technology of Shandong University. He obtained his Ph.D. from the Copernicus Institute of Sustainable Development at Utrecht University, the Netherlands. His main research areas include solar thermal utilization, energy storage, energy system analysis, renewable energy, and building energy.
In recent years, he has applied for or been granted more than 10 national invention patents and published 1 monograph. He has published over 10 academic papers as the first author, including 1 ESI highly cited paper. He has led or participated in 3 international, 3 national-level, and 3 provincial/ministerial-level projects.
He serves as a young editorial board member of EcoEnergy, Net Zero, ES Energy & Environment, Clean Energy Science and Technology, and Sustainable Engineering Novit. He is a reviewer for several international journals, including Renewable and Sustainable Energy Reviews, Technology in Society, Applied Energy, Journal of Energy Storage, Energy, Energy Research & Social Science, Journal of Building Engineering, Solar Energy, and Energy, Ecology and Environment. He is also a reviewer for several international conferences, including International Conference on Applied Energy, International Conference on Energy, Ecology and Environment, and International Symposium on Hydrogen Energy, Renewable Energy, and Materials. He serves as a scientific and organizing committee member and a section chair of the International Conference on Energy, Ecology, and Environment.
