Dr. Tianrun Yang is a postdoctoral researcher at the Institute for Advanced Technology of Shandong University. He obtained his Ph.D. from the Copernicus Institute of Sustainable Development at Utrecht University, the Netherlands. His main research areas include solar thermal utilization, energy storage, integrated energy system, and building energy.
In recent years, he has applied for or been granted more than 10 invention patents and published 1 monograph. He has published over 20 SCI/EI-indexed papers, including 1 ESI highly cited paper. He has led or participated in more than 10 international, national, and provincial/ministerial projects.
He serves as a young editorial board member for DeCarbon, Sci, ES Energy & Environment, EcoEnergy, Clean Energy Science and Technology, Clean Energy and Sustainability, Energy & Environment Nexus, Sustainable Engineering Novit, Net Zero, and Energy Research and Management. He is a reviewer for several international journals, including Renewable and Sustainable Energy Reviews, Technology in Society, Applied Energy, Journal of Energy Storage, Energy, Journal of Building Engineering, Solar Energy, Energy Research & Social Science, Sustainability, Energies, Processes, Solar, Energy, Ecology and Environment, Algorithms, Energy Storage and Applications, et al.
