- In the late stage of solvothermal synthesis of TiO2 nanocrystals, a host−guest 22-titanium oxo cluster encapsulating two guests, an I and an OH, is isolated. The surface of this novel compound can be postfunctionalizable with catecholate and carboxylate ligands.
