- Using 17 isostructural polyoxotitanates (POTs) as molecular models of doped titanium oxide nanoparticles, it has been revealed that lattice doping with transition metal ions may not be an efficient way, while loading of defect sites may be very effective for both photocatalysis and solar cells applications of titanium oxides.
