Research Overview

Our group combines electrochemical methods with materials engineering to address challenges in environmental pollution detection & treatment, renewable energy, artificial photosynthesis, and sensor development. We develop new technologies and understandings through extensive experimental activities, including synthesis of well-defined nanosurfaces, controlled gelation of colloidal nanoparticles into (aero)gels, and investigation of electrochemical processes at the liquid-solid interfaces, electrochemical pollutant treatments, and sensor design.
