Course Introduction:Planetary science is an emerging interdisciplinary field that devotes to study various celestial bodies in our solar system.
Solar system explorations helps human beings to understand its origin and evolution history, and advance technology developments. This course focuses on the latest planetary missions to solar system bodies (planets, satellites, asteroids, and comets) and their scientific discoveries, especially those from the Chinese lunar and Martian explorations.
