初波，2015年5月获得中国科学技术大学细胞分子学博士学学位。2015年9月以博士后身份进入哥伦比亚大学医学研究中心顾伟实验室，开展铁死亡与肿瘤发展的研究工作。2019年10月全职回到山东大学基础医学院， 为国家高层次青年人才，山东省泰山学者青年专家，山东大学齐鲁青年学者，教授。初波教授课题组主要研究铁死亡与肿瘤发展的分子调控机制及靶向治疗，回国后以通讯作者身份在国际知名期刊发表多篇有影响力的学术论文，包括：Nature Cell Biology, Nature Communications, Advanced Science, Cell Death& Differentiation, Communications Biology等。
