Lu Zaijun, Professor of Shandong University, Ph.D.,“Specialist of Quancheng City". He was received his Ph.D. at Fudan University and studied at Case Western Reserve University (US), Durham University (UK), and Kyoto University (Japan).

He has undertaken 13 research projects including the National Natural Science Foundation, the National Defense Military Industry Support, and the Provincial Special Project. About 70 papers were published in domestic and foreign journals such as Macromolecules, Langmuir, Polymer, and Chinese Science. 20 patents have been granted. He has won the second prize of Shanghai Science and Technology Progress Award, the “5150 high-level entrepreneurial talents at home and abroad” in Jinan, and the “Green Yang Jinfeng” talents in Yangzhou.

Among them, the synthesis of benzoxazine resin and its composite materials has been industrialized in Dongfang Insulation Materials Co., Ltd. Its products have been applied in direct-coupled vacuum pumps, Three Gorges generating units, nuclear submarine motors, and aircraft structural materials.

The special polymer synthesized by anionic polymerization technology is used as target materials of laser induced nuclear fusion (ICF) in China Academy of Engineering Physics. The hydroxyl-terminated polybutadiene synthesized by anionic polymerization technology has been industrialized in Lanzhou Petrochemical. The military users are conducting experiments on the application of new solid missile propellants.
