吕广世，现任山东大学数学学院教授（二级）、博士生导师、山东大学特聘教授、国家级领军人才。2004年，于山东大学获理学博士学位；2008年，公派美国斯坦福大学博士后；2009年，破格晋升为山东大学教授。2010年，入选教育部新世纪优秀人才支持计划；2011年，获山东省自然科学杰出青年基金；2017年，入选山东省泰山学者特聘专家；2023年，入选国家高层次人才计划。2012—2019年，任数学学院副院长。2019年，任山东大学澳国立联合理学院执行院长。

主要从事解析数论的研究，在自守形式解析理论与素数分布领域取得系列进展，于Math. Ann., Adv. in Math., Int. Math. Res. Not. IMRN, Math. Z., Forum Math., Canadian J. Math.等发表学术论文100余篇。2011年，获教育部自然科学一等奖（第2位）。2014年，获国家自然科学二等奖（第3位）。2015年，获“第十届山东省青年科技奖”。主持国家自然科学基金5项、科技部国家重点研发项目课题三，主持山东省自然科学杰出青年基金等省部级项目4项。连续参加3期国家自然科学基金重点项目、教育部创新团队计划，教育部创新团队滚动支持计划，以及科技部重点领域创新团队。

主讲《数学分析》、《高等代数》等本科数学核心课程，《复变函数》、《数论基础》、《抽象代数》等双语课程。曾多次被评为“山东大学课堂教学效果优秀教师”、“泰山学堂毕业生最喜爱的教师”。指导的学生多次获“山东省优秀学士学位论文”、“山东省优秀博士学位论文”。
