主要的研究方向是利用荧光显微镜技术探索植物细胞内部的结构变化,在亚细胞和单分子层面,着重理解植物细胞内质网结构形成和变化的分子机理,
(1)从而深入了解植物是如何调节并维持细胞结构的稳态来满足各个时期的生长发育的需求和应对外界环境的千变万化;
(2)以探索利用人工调控植物内质网结构稳态来提高作物的抗逆性;
(3)调节内质网结构来改变作物的品质(蛋白质、油脂比例)。
