Yugang Tang is a professor and doctoral supervisor in the Department of Finance, School of Economics, Shandong University, and a visiting scholar at the University of Queensland, Australia, and Roma Tre University, Italy. My main research interests include regional and urban public finance, political economy of fiscal policy, and public policy evaluation. I have published academic papers in Journal of Development Economics, Regional Science and Urban Economics,Economic Research(in Chinese), China Economics Quarterly(in Chinese) ,etc. I have published a monograph entitled "A Theoretical Exploration of "Chinese Style" Decentralization: Horizontal and Vertical Intergovernmental Fiscal Interactions and Their Economic Consequences". In recent years, I have presided over two projects of the National Natural Science Foundation of China and one project of the National Social Science Foundation of China. I was awarded the second prize of the Outstanding Achievement Award of Social Sciences in Shandong Province, the second prize of the Sixth National Outstanding Research Achievement Award of Fiscal Theory, the excellent paper of the Second China Fiscal Forum, and the excellent paper of the First and Second China Urban Scholars Forum.
