My research focuses on exploring and making efforts in both practicality and high performance. On the practical side, I developed itol.toolkit, aiming to address the shortcomings of mainstream analysis tools and provide a more convenient solution for phylogenetic tree visualization. On the high-performance side, I redeveloped the core components of bioinformatics tools using Rust, attempting to enhance the speed and efficiency of functions originally implemented in high-level languages like Python and R through parallelization and compilation optimization. These efforts contribute to the advancement of bioinformatics tools in terms of both practicality and performance.
