I.Introduction of PI and Research Group:

Wu Dalei is a professor and doctoral supervisor of the Institute of Microbial Technology, Shandong University. He received his bachelor's degree from Shandong University in 2003 and his PhD from Shanghai Institute of Materia Medica, Chinese Academy of Sciences in 2008. After that, he completed his postdoctoral training in the University of California, Davis and Sanford Burnham Institute for Medical Research, and returned to work in Shandong University in 2016. He has been selected as "Young Taishan Scholar" of Shandong Province, "Provincial Outstanding Youth Fund" project and "New Drug Development" High-level Young Talents Project of the Ministry of Education. His academic part-time job mainly includes the member of the Special Committee of the Chinese Pharmacological Society and the Young editor of the Journal of Pharmaceutical Sciences, etc.

The research group (Protein Structure and Drug Discovery Group) is mainly engaged in structural and molecular pharmacology research and targeted molecular discovery of transcription factor related proteins, and also in structure resolution and catalytic mechanism research of biosynthetic enzymes. The relevant results have been published in international academic journals such as Nature, Nature Chemical Biology, Nature Communications, PNAS, and JACS.

II.Job description:

Due to the development needs of the research group, we are looking for 1-2 postdocs. Mainly focused on the relevant topics of independent research and experimental work, and assisted the tutor to guide junior graduate students and undergraduates, working in Qingdao campus of Shandong University. His research direction is the cross field of pharmacology, cell biology, microbiology, etc., mainly focusing on the regulation mechanism of transcription factor signaling pathway.

III.Recruitment requirements:

1. Have or will soon obtain a doctor's degree in pharmacology, cell biology, biochemistry and molecular biology or other related biology or medicine;

2. Proficient in all kinds of conventional pharmacology, cell biology and experimental skills (with transcription factor signaling pathway research experience is preferred);

3. Have published research papers in well-known professional journals as the first author, with strong English reading, writing, listening and speaking skills;

4. Good at communication, good team spirit, hardworking, proactive, rigorous and responsible, innovative, able to independently carry out relevant experiments.

IV.Salary and treatment:

1. On the basis of the post-doctoral salary in Shandong University, you can also obtain a post-doctoral talent subsidy from Qingdao City, with a cumulative pre-tax annual salary of 200,000-360,000 yuan/year; In addition, performance allowance will be given according to individual scientific research performance, and those who continue to work in Qingdao after leaving the station can apply for 250,000 yuan to settle down;

2. The school has affiliated hospitals and primary and secondary education, which can provide high-quality medical and health care services and basic education services for postdocs transferred to our school. During their stay in the school, postdocs pay social insurance and housing accumulation fund at the same standard as in-service teachers;

3.
