Jiawei Zhang received his BSc degree in Physics at Shanghai Jiao Tong University in 2010, followed by MSc and PhD degrees at the University of Manchester in 2012 and 2016. He worked in the School of Electrical and Electronic Engineering, University of Manchester and National Graphene Institute for 3 years before moving to Shandong University, China. His research interests include oxide semiconductors, thin-film transistors, microwave/THz electronics and 2D materials. He received the Outstanding Non-Governmentally Financed PhD Students Abroad Award from China Scholarship Council in 2015 and the Manchester Doctorial College Excellence Award in 2016. He has around 40 publications in scientific journals including Nature Communications, PNAS, Nano Letters, IEEE Electron Device Letters, etc.
