主要从事水环境大数据诊断和生态效应分析研究。针对新时期水质污染形势严峻、生态环境脆弱但定量遥感和环境演变机制研究不足,拓展了遗传神经网络、随机森林、LSTM等机器学习算法在水环境大数据分析中应用,评估了不同空间尺度下(流域、城市、区域)的水环境质量,并对其驱动要素展开了深入分析。目前,已发表学术论文10余篇,授权发明专利10余项,曾获2023年测绘科学技术一等奖、2022年度生产力促进(创新发展)二等奖、Wiley开放科学2022年度高贡献作者、2022年度山东省智慧海洋科研创新实践大赛三等奖(优秀指导教师)等奖励。
