Yang Tan is now working as a professor at School of Physics in Shandong University, China. He received his PhD degree in condensed matter physics in 2011 at Shandong University, and joined School of Physics at Shandong University in 2013. He has achieved a serial of distinctive achievements on “ion irradiation induced modification of optical materials”. The main research contents include: (1) Mechanism of the tailored optical material by the ion irradiation. (2) Application of modified optical materials in integrated photonics. He has published 84 papers, and 4 national patents. The first author or only corresponding author papers include Nano Letters、Nanoscale、ACS Photonics、Applied Physics Letters、Optics Letters、Optics Express.
