Recently, Jinan Association for Science and Technology published the ‘Publicity on the Proposed List of Jinan Academician/Expert Workstations in 2024’. After being recommended by districts and counties, qualification review, on-the-spot inspection, expert evaluation and other processes, an ‘Expert Workstation’ of Prof. Hailong Wang of the State Key Laboratory of Microbiology Technology of Shandong University and Shandong Lishan Biotechnology Co., Ltd. was on the list.

Shandong Lishan Biotechnology Co., Ltd. is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Lishan Health (Shandong) Group Co., Ltd., focusing on immune cell therapy, gene therapy, stem cell and regenerative medicine, inspection and testing, and other related businesses. And it has the first Shandong Provincial CDMO pilot base for immune cell and gene therapy recognized by the Department of Science and Technology of Shandong Province. Hailong Wang team of Shandong University will collaborate with Shandong Lishan Biotechnology Co., Ltd. to conduct frontier research on CDMO development, serving the fields of cell and gene therapy, stem cells, and regenerative medicine, etc. Associate Researcher Ji Luan, Assistant Researcher Tianyu Jiang, Postdoc Hengxing Yuan and Xiaochen Li of Shandong University are members of the ‘Expert Workstation’ team.
