We are now in a rapidly changing daily life era. TV news, technologies, new ideas are constantly coming out every day. To be more competitive, we want to perform the best in our roles. That is said, being a student, I want to obtain grade A and apply an internship for the summer as possible as I can. As a data analyst, I want to generate the best report with high impact insights and show it to my manager. All these tasks and goals require us to perform extremely well.
In a TED talk, Eduardo Briceño talks about an inspiring topic with advice to spend some time in the learning zone instead of focusing on the performance zone only. For example, if we want to type faster, instead of typing 5 hours a day in front of a computer, we can spend 20 mins to learn how to type faster by learning some tricks.
The figure shows a dynamic loop to show our role changing between learning and performance zone, growth and performance, future and now.
