At present, the main research direction is the application of functional composite materials (mainly including heterojunction catalysts, metal single atom modified semiconductor photocatalysts, organic-inorganic composite materials, etc.) in energy, environment, and medicine (including photocatalytic hydrogen production, hydrocarbon conversion, multi technology collaborative removal of organic pollutants, pollutant sensing and monitoring technology, biomedicine, etc.), involving multiple fields such as environmental chemistry, inorganic chemistry, material chemistry, electrochemistry, organic chemistry, coordination chemistry, and energy chemistry. In recent years, a series of innovative research achievements have been made in the application of photocatalytic technology (especially in the development of efficient heterojunction catalysts, photocatalytic coupling technology in the treatment of antibiotic and chlorophenol industrial wastewater) and the development of functional composite materials (especially in composite fiber strain sensors, composite fiber humidity sensors, photocatalytic fiber fabrics, and novel Peritoneal Dialysis Catheter). More than 50 academic papers have been published as the first or corresponding author in renowned journals, such as Small, Chinese J. Catal., Nano Energy, Appl. Catal. B, Carbon, NPJ Clean Water, Chem. Eng. J., J. Mater. Technol., ACS Appl. Mater. Interfaces, Rare Metals, Mater. He has been continuously selected for the top 2% of global scientists in 2023, 2024, and 2025, ranking from 236706 to 207680 to 137936, an increase of nearly 100000.
