Jiadong Ji, an associate professor and doctoral supervisor, has been selected for the Young Scholars Future Program of Shandong University. He graduated with a bachelor's degree in Statistics from Shandong University in 2012 and obtained a doctoral degree from Shandong University in 2017. From 2017 to 2020, he worked at Shandong University of Finance and Economics as an associate professor. Since 2020, he has been working at Shandong University. His main research areas include interdisciplinary studies such as biostatistics, statistical genetics, causal inference, big data machine learning, artificial intelligence, and bioinformatics. He has published over 40 papers in international authoritative journals such as Biometrics (selected as cover articles), Biostatistics, Statistics in Medicine, Nature Genetics, and American Journal of Human Genetics. He also spent one year as an exchange visitor at New York City University. He has been awarded two National Natural Science Foundation of China grants, and has participated in several other national, provincial, and ministerial-level projects. In 2020, he received the third prize of the Shandong Medical Science and Technology Award - Innovation and Achievement Award. He serves as an editorial board member of the BMC Genomic Data journal.
