After more than two years work together with my postgraduate students, I realised that in many cases our students have a very limited amount of literature review, especially for the papers written in English. Today I would like to share a few slides I gave to my postgraduates, mentioning my understanding on how to start, best in the very beginning of your master study, a fundamental and effective literature review. The slides are very brief but essential. Hope that you will find it helpful.
