Prof. Yongzheng Xing obtained his PhD from Tsinghua University and National Center for Nanoscience and Technology, and afterwards conducted his postdoctoral research at LMU Munich and University College London. He joined SDU as a professor in July 2023. 

The Xing group's research areas include DNA nanotechnology, biosensing, nanodevices and smart materials.
