Xiangyu Yang is currently an Associate Research Fellow at the School of Management, Shandong University. He received his Ph.D. from Fudan University and his Bachelor's degree from Shandong University. He previously served as a Specially Funded Postdoctoral Researcher at Shandong University and was awarded the First Prize for Outstanding Postdoctoral Researcher at Shandong University. His primary research interests focus on optimization algorithms based on stochastic simulation and their applications in healthcare, financial engineering, and operations management. His research findings have been accepted or published in refereed journals, including Systems Engineering - Theory & Practice (in Chinese), Automatica, European Journal of Operational Research, IEEE Transactions on Automatic Control, and Naval Research Logistics. He has served as the principal investigator for several research projects, including those funded by the Young Scientists Fund of the National Natural Science Foundation of China (NSFC), the General Program of the China Postdoctoral Science Foundation, the Youth Program of the Natural Science Foundation of Shandong Province, and the Shandong Provincial Postdoctoral Innovation Program.
