板块构造运动过程会发生强烈的壳幔相互作用，是维系地球深部与表层物质和能量交换最重要的纽带，对地球宜居环境的形成有着深远的影响。不同阶段的板块构造运动发生的壳幔相互作用具有不同的表现形式及运行机制，对地壳与地幔演化的作用有明显差别。利用岩石学与地球化学手段，可以探究不同构造环境下的壳幔相互作用差异性及其资源环境效应。
