Biography

Yong Song received the B.Sc. degree in control science from Shandong University, Weihai, China, in 2001, the M.Sc. degree in control science and engineering from Shandong University, Jinan, China, in 2008, and the Ph.D. degree in pattern recognition and intelligent system from Shandong University, Jinan, China in 2012. Dr. Song is currently a Professor of School of Mechanical, Electrical & Information Engeering, Shandong University.

His research interests include collaborative robot, swarm robotics. Prof. Song has been very active in professional activities. He serves as the Guess Editor of International Journal of Apllied Intelligence; Reviewer of IEEE Access， Advances in Mechanical Engineering, and several other journals. His research projects are funded by National Natural Science Foundation of China, Shandong Province Natural Science Fund, National Key Research and Development Plan of China, Shandong Province Key Research and Development Plan, and several industrial partners.
