Job Description

Postdoc/Ph.D. /Master Degree positions are available in Professor Hailong Wang's laboratory at Shandong University. There is 1 professor, 1 associate researcher, 3 postdoctoral fellows, 8 doctoral students, and 6 master's students in Wang laboratory. The Wang laboratory is committed to the study of microbial gene editing and drug synthetic biology, including the development of microbial gene editing technology and its application in drug development research such as natural products biosynthesis, bacteriophage engineering, viral vector vaccines, and tumor targeted therapy.

Ph.D. graduates/ Master/ Bachelor graduates in the field of synthetic biology, microbiology, molecular biology, medicinal chemistry or other relevant area with ambition for a scientific career are encouraged to apply.

For Postdoc, the State Key Laboratory of Microbial Technology in Shandong University and Qingdao city offers a competitive annual salary from ≥180,000 to 460,000 CNY depending on your previous achievements, health/dental/vision insurances and apartments for rent at the low price. In addition, the Postdoc will get performance bonus (3,000 to 5,000 CNY every month) from Wang laboratory. The Ph.D. students can apply the China Scholarship Council (CSC) scholarship.
