I am a Professor in Interdisciplinary Research Center (IRC) at School of Computer Science and Technology, Shandong University. My research interests include scientific data visual analytics, computer graphics, and human-computer interaction, with a current focus on the visualization and interaction of large-scale oceanographic data. I have published more than 20 papers in leading international journals and conferences such as ACM CHI, IEEE VIS, and IEEE TVCG, and has been granted more than 10 patents.

I plan to recruit 1 Postdoctoral Research Fellow and 1 Master’s Student in 2026. In 2027, I will recruit several PhD and Master’s students. The main research area is ocean data science and visual analytics. Outstanding students who are interested in interdisciplinary research between visual computing and ocean science are warmly welcome to join our group, explore cutting-edge interdisciplinary topics, and conduct high-level academic research together.
