1. Organic Sulfur(VI) Fluorides: Synthesis and Application
Our research group is currently focused on the synthesis of novel and practical organic sulfur(VI) fluorides, particularly those containing -SF5, -SO2F, and -S(O)(NR)F functional groups. Specifically, we aim to develop efficient and user-friendly pentafluorosulfanylation reagents that can be applied in a wide range of reactions. Additionally, our efforts are dedicated to discovering effective methodologies for the synthesis of multifunctional compounds substituted with -SF5, -SO2F, and -S(O)(NR)F groups, including both C-centered and S-centered chiral compounds.
2. Novel Phosphine Ligands
Pyridyl-substituted phosphines, also known as 'built-in base ligands', exhibit distinct reactivity towards alkoxycarbonylation and hydrogen-borrowing reactions. Our research group is interested in the design and development of hemilabile 'built-in base' monophosphines for alcohol C-C coupling reactions and hydroformylation. Furthermore, our project encompasses metal single atom catalysts supported on phosphine-containing organic porous polymers.
