Yanping Xu is a full professor in the Center for Optics Research and Engineering, Shandong University, Qingdao, Shandong Province, China and is conferred the title of Qilu Outstanding Young Scholar of Shandong University. He received the Bachelor degree in Physics from Jilin University, China, in June 2011 and the Ph.D. degree in Physics from University of Ottawa, Canada, in August 2017.
