Quantum information is a frontier research field at the intersection of quantum physics and information science. It mainly studies how quantum systems can be used to store, transmit, process, and extract information. Unlike conventional information technologies, quantum information makes use of unique quantum features such as quantum superposition, quantum entanglement, and quantum measurement, offering the potential to achieve capabilities beyond classical technologies in computation, communication, and precision measurement. At present, quantum information has developed into several important research directions, including quantum computation, quantum communication, quantum precision measurement, quantum error correction, quantum networks, and quantum artificial intelligence. Research in these areas not only helps promote the development of future information technologies, but also plays an important role in deepening our understanding of the fundamental laws of the quantum world. Our group mainly conducts theoretical research in quantum information, with a focus on information extraction from complex quantum systems, quantum measurement optimization, quantum Fisher information estimation, quantum precision measurement, and quantum coherence.
