The Regulation of Protein Transportation

Our lab focus on identifying new regulatory molecules in tissue fibrosis through the forward (EMS mutagenesis) and reverse genetics methods (RNAi library screening and CRISPR/Cas9 genome targeted editing) in C. elegans. And using multi-dimensional in vivo microscopic imaging, Chip-seq and yeast two hybridization technologies to systematically analyze the subcellular localization and dynamic changes of these regulatory factors during the extracellular matrix (ECM) remodeling, to clarify the in vivo functions and molecular regulation mechanisms. Combining the results from C. elegans with human cell line and mouse models, we anticipates to verify the function of regulatory factors, reveal the molecular regulatory network of extracellular matrix remodeling.
