Niu Xiaojie is an Assistant Professor at the Institute of Advanced Studies in Education, Shandong University. She earned her Bachelor's, Master's, and Ph.D. degrees from the School of Educational Technology at Beijing Normal University. During her doctoral studies, she participated in a joint training program at the Centre for Change and Complexity in Learning (C3L), University of South Australia, and was a visiting scholar at the Santa Fe Institute in the United States. Her research focuses on artificial intelligence in education, learning analytics, and computational social science. She has published over 20 papers in authoritative CSSCI and SSCI journals both in China and abroad. Adopting an interdisciplinary research perspective that integrates systems science, artificial intelligence, and pedagogy, she conducts systematic studies on new patterns of learning interactions, revealing the evolutionary mechanisms of learning interactions from a dynamic perspective. Her work provides theoretical foundations and practical solutions for building intelligent, open, and flexible digital learning environments. She has also engaged in academic exchanges in the United States, Italy, Finland, Australia, and other countries.
